Zhou Ang 周昂 was an officer of Yuan Shao. He fought against Yuan Shu in Jiujiang commandery and was later reinforced by his brother Zhou Yu.


In the winter of 191 A.D. the Guandong Coalition was falling apart. Yuan Shu and Yuan Shao did not trust each other. Zhou Ang was an officer under Yuan Shao and fought against Yuan Shu, who attacked him in Jiujiang.

Northwest of Jiujiang Zhou Ang's brother Zhou Yu was defeated by Sun Jian and went to assist his brother. Both of the brothers were defeated and retreated.[1]
